6/29/2023 0 Comments No Ordinary Job by Peyton Connor![]() ![]() Our eager, focused, and passionate group of 10 students from Life West will be joined by other students and doctors from around the U.S. Everyday will be spent serving the beautiful people in the Western Hemisphere’s poorest country. On September 23, 2016, I will embark on a 5 day Chiropractic service trip to Haiti. I spring out of bed at 4:30-5:00am every day to meditate, exercise, and practice chiropractic skills while still managing to enjoy the ski, surf, and sun-filled adventures the West Coast has to offer! I spend about 40 hours a week in the classroom, work 2 part time jobs (Student Life Activities Coordinator, and School Bookstore/ Mailroom Cashier), am Vice President of the school’s public speaking club, and work as a Student Ambassador for the enrollment department– I’m “better when I’m busy” (and I don’t think these Cali folk realize how “turbo” an East Coaster can be!) Aside from this, I still manage to set aside for personal growth: mind, body, and spirit. I had plenty alone time on the long, cross-country drive to try and imagine what to expect, but can honestly say that my mind (and heart) are continually blown open while embarking on this chiropractic experience! Thank you for taking the time to check out my page! 10 months ago, I began the exciting and fulfilling journey of chiropractic school at Life Chiropractic College West in the San Francisco Bay area. ![]()
